Synopsis: Oleg is young and talented doctor of ambulance service, who abuses alcohol. His wife, nurse Katya, has lost her patience with Oleg and suggests a divorce. Katya insists that Oleg moves out of their apartment, but eventually leaves him to sleep in the kitchen. At the same time, a change of leadership happens in the hospital, where the couple works. The new boss introduces strict rules and obliges employees to follow them. Oleg refuses to follow and confronts his boss. In this atmosphere Oleg and Katya try to understand their own feelings and how to live on.
