Synopsis: Car mechanic Nikolay Sergeev lives with his second wife Lilya and Roma, son from his first marriage, in a small northern town near the sea. The corrupt mayor of the city, Vadim Shevelyat, tries to take away the house and land from Nikolay’s family for his own needs. After two lost cases, Nikolay calls for help his old army friend Dmitriy, who is now a professional lawyer. His arrival gives hope for Nikolay, but soon only complicates matters.
